The system includes all business transactions of an insurance agency, especially creating offers and contracts.

  • Developing a J2EE-Framework to integrate into the legacy system
  • Enabling automatic tests for all aspects of the application. (business rules, calculations, validations, and persistence)
  • Support of notebooks, especially a stand-alone operating mode. (Swing-UI).
  • Supporting operations on a WebSphere application server
  • Supporting different database systems and integrating a calculation and validation framework (VP/MS)
  • New design of application development with concern for a short time-to-market

The system includes all business transactions required by an insurance company agency. The project was focused on the reimplementation of the creation of offers and contracts. These transactions need to be integrated into the legacy system.
